Liam Burns has been a member of Sundridge Park Golf Club since 2002. His current handicap is +3. and 2008 was his most successful season so far.
He won the Kent Amateur Championship, runner-up in the Irish Youths Amateur Open Championship, winner of the Kent Youths Championship, Stoke Poges Trophy, Waterford Trophy, Sundridge Park Club Championship and finished the year winning the Kent County Golf Union Order of Merit for 2008.
His intention in 2008 is to remain an amateur and plans to review his position at the end of the year.
In the winter of 2008/9 Liam is contining to refine and improve his technique under the tutelage of Steve Blacklee (Surrey Downs), as he did last winter, which resulted in a significant improvement in his game.
